At a glance
There are 4 different kinds of user accounts, who have access to campaigns and hold different roles & permissions. This is only a quick overview. For a more detailed explanation, go to Backend Roles & Permissions.
Quicklinks
Types of Accounts
- Admin, has access to the whole backend
- Coach, can be assigned to multiple teams and access the team-, team leader- and fundraiser dashboard
- Team Leader, can access the team dashboard and each individual fundraiser dashboard
- Fundraiser, has access to the campaign he/she is assigned to
Admin Account
The admin can create Coach-, Team Leader- and Fundraiser Accounts. Furthermore Admin accounts are the only user type that have access to the entire backend. Fundraiser, teamleader and coach accounts can be created here. Everything that is necessary for a regular workflow around the fundraisers also happens here.
Coach Account
A Coach can supervise multiple teams, he/she has access to the campaign form, even if he/she has no work shift assigned. The coach has access to all dashboards on the team, this also includes the Team Leader dashboard. Additionally, the Coach has access to the backend, although the data that can be accessed is more restricted than with the Admin Account.
Note: If a coach writes a donation without having a running work shift assigned in a team, the donation gets stored as an 'Unfinished Donation'. The 'Unfinished Donation' has to be confirmed in the backend via the 'Save to donation' Button in the detail view of the donation. As soon as the 'Unfinished Donation' is saved the welcome email is sent to the donor and it is treated like all the other donations, but will not show up in the team statistics.
If you want to avoid this workflow you need to assign a work shift to the coach. You can either:
- Create a new team for the coach, so the team statistics are not affected by the donations written by the coach.
- or you can simply add a work shift for the coach in an existing team, the donations made by the coach will show up in the team statistics.
Team Leader
A Team Leader Account makes it possible to be assigned as a leader of a team. Besides your own dashboard, the team dashboard, as well as the dashboards of everyone on your team, will be accessible to you.
Fundraiser
As soon as the Admin adds a Fundraiser account, he/she will receive an email (if his/her address was provided in the created profile) with the account credentials username and password.
The Fundraiser has access to his/her own dashboard right away. It shows the most relevant data at a glance (you can customize the dashboard to the needs of your company).
As soon as the Fundraiser has an active work shift in a team, he/she can also access the form of the campaign.
