User types: Roles & permissions
In principle, there are 4 user types for campaigns, which have different roles and authorisations:
- The admin account
Admin accounts are the only user type that has access to the entire backend, i.e. what you see. Fundraiser, team leader and coach accounts can be created here. Everything that is necessary for a regular process around the fundraisers also happens here.
- The Fundraiser Account
When an admin adds a fundraiser, a new fundraiser account is automatically created. A password is sent to the email address with which the fundraiser can log in.
As soon as he/she has a work shift in a team, he/she can access the donation form on the day of the work shift. Fundraisers also have access to their dashboards. This shows him/her the most important data at a glance.
- The Team Leader Account
A team leader account is basically the same as a fundraiser account with the only difference that he/she can also be registered as a team leader and thus not only see his/her own dashboard, but also that of the entire team and the dashboards of the individual fundraisers in his/her team.
- The Coach Account
The coach account is basically the same as a team leader account, but a coach can supervise several teams at the same time and is therefore one level above the team leader. A coach always has access to the form, even if he/she has not entered a work shift. In addition, a coach has access to the dashboards of each team to which he/she has been assigned and to the dashboards of the individual fundraisers & team leaders of the assigned teams.
Note: If a coach wins a supporter and does not have a work shift in a team, the donation will end up in "unfinished donations". There the donation has to be confirmed again, only then the welcome email will be sent and the donation will be treated like any other donation. There are two ways around this:
- You assign the coach a work shift in an existing team. This way the donations will be treated normally, but will also be counted in the team statistics.
- You create an own team for the coach and assign work shifts to him, so that his donations are treated normally and do not distort the team statistics.
