After the Self-Checkout or self-checkout journey, donors will receive an SMS and an email with the link to the self-checkout form. If the donor has not received one of these, the QR code on the form can be scanned as an alternative.
The email can be designed as you wish, the standard email looks like this. (with the header you chose for your campaign of course)
Clicking on "Verify now" leads to the checkout form, where donors are asked to enter their date of birth so that their personal data is protected.
If the date of birth is entered incorrectly, an error message will follow. If you click OK, you can try again.
Depending on whether only the standard self-checkout (on the right) or the one with payment information (on the left) was selected, the view on the left or right will be shown.
The agreed opt-ins are shown in the summary and the checkbox "I accept the marketing opt-ins as discussed with the fundraiser" is mandatory to complete the donation.
By clicking on "Submit", the thank you screen pops up and the donors receive a welcome email as usual.
Once a donation has been completed, the self-checkout form can no longer be opened via the link; if the link is opened, a message appears stating that the record has already been completed.
