We are constantly improving our app, see what new functions we have released at the end of the year:
Improved Location Module
Details: We have upgraded the location module for our Next donation form. Fundraisers can now access and view their performance metrics without requiring a work shift. The selection of the location is now mandatory when opening a campaign (if the module is active), when using only donation campaigns.
Impact: This improvement elevates the usability of our app, granting fundraisers the flexibility to review their numbers independently of workshifts. The mandatory location selection ensures a more seamless experience within the donation form.
Overhauled Photo Verification for Coaches
Details: Coaches are now required to upload a photo only if they have an active work shift for a team. If they are solely assigned as coaches without an active work shift, photo verification is not mandatory.
Impact: This overhaul streamlines the process for coaches, allowing easier access to the form without the obligatory photo upload.
Expanded Donation Filters
Details: New filters for donations were introduced, enhancing the filtering capabilities. Specifically, a multi-select filter for donation interval and a time filter for exported to charity has been added. These filters are now applicable to donations, unfinished donations, and unfinished self-checkout donations.
Impact: The addition of these filters provides users with more refined and versatile options for filtering and analyzing donation data across various contexts, promoting a more comprehensive data exploration experience.
Enhanced Self-Checkout Cache Management
Details: A change has been implemented to address a behavior related to self-checkout donations. The update ensures that the cache of the donation is now cleared after completing a self-checkout donation, preventing the possibility of uploading duplicates and eliminating user confusion about the donation status.
Impact: This improvement provides a more streamlined and error-resistant experience for users engaging in self-checkout donations, reducing the likelihood of unintentional duplication and ensuring clarity regarding the completion status.
Enhanced Login Protection
Details: Users, excluding fundraisers, job scouts, team leaders, and coaches, will now face a lockout after five consecutive failed login attempts. The current cool-down duration of 60 minutes is maintained to thwart potential unauthorized access. Additionally, warning and error messages have been reviewed and optimized for user clarity and guidance.
Impact: This improved login protection strengthens security by discouraging brute-force attacks. The refined error messages enhance user understanding, and the consistent cool-down duration maintains a balance between security and user experience.
