Our app offers fundraisers the ability to independently record their working hours. This function can be found in the app under the menu item "Time Tracking" in the top right corner of the menu:

Time Tracking is only available to fundraisers if they have been assigned a shift. It is not possible to turn this feature off.

Time Tracking from the Fundraiser's Perspective

In the app, fundraisers can record their working time independently. There are four buttons available for this:

• Start
• Start Pause
• End
• Back to Dashboard

Before time tracking begins, the "Start Pause" and "End" buttons are disabled.

Once "Start" is pressed, the Start button is disabled, and the other two ("Start Pause" and "End") are activated. From that moment on, working time is being tracked.

Time Tracking Started

When "Start Pause" is pressed, working time is paused, and break time is tracked instead. The "Start Pause" button turns into "Stop Pause". Breaks can be started and stopped as many times as needed, as long as "End" has not been pressed. When "Stop Pause" is pressed, working time resumes.

Break Started

Once "End" is pressed, the Start Pause and End buttons are disabled, and a "Save" button appears. By pressing "Save", fundraisers can upload their working and break times directly from the app to the backend.

Ready to Save

Before uploading, the fundraiser is asked to confirm the upload. Only one time entry per day per fundraiser can be recorded and uploaded. The fundraiser receives a notification once the time tracking has been successfully uploaded.

If an attempt is made to upload another time entry for the same day, a notification appears indicating that a time entry has already been submitted for that day.

Time Tracking in the Backend (Admin View)

After being uploaded by the fundraisers, the working and break times are transmitted to the backend and are visible under the section "Time Entries" in the admin interface.

The time tracking is time zone aware – it uses the time zone of the device on which the tracking is performed.
