Unfinished donations

Donations can be stored as unfinished donations. These are all donations that need some work before they can become a normal donation.

Every Fundraiser has access to his own unfinished donations. Staff users have access to all unfinished donations.

The unfinished donation already gets an Formnumber assigned, following the number before. Upon converting, the number stays the same, so all donations will still be counted upwards.

Basically there are three kinds of donations that get stored here:

1) Call-backs (Skip payment)

Call-backs make it possible to sign up a donor without entering his bank information. If a fundraisers signs up a call-back he will find his donation here.

The fundraiser then can add the missing bank details and if they are correct the call-back will be converted into a regular donation.

2) Donations from Coaches

For coaches it is also possible to have access to one or multiple donation-forms without having an active work-shift applied. If that is the case we will store his donations here so the coach can decide what should happen with the donation.

Please note: To count donations in our statistics they need to have a fundraiser, a team and a work-shift applied. Due to this it is possible that a coach can support his teams without falsifying team statistics.

A coach can perform the following actions with his donations:

• Assign donation to other fundraisers
  To do this, open the unfinished donation and change the fundraiser and add the team this fundraiser has a workshift in.
  
  
• Assign donation to yourself and do not add it to the statistics
  If the donations should not count to the statistics just open it and hit save.
  
  
• Assign donation to yourself and add it to the statistics
  If you want the donation to be included in the statistics also add the team the coach has a work-shift in. If you have no work-shift for that day you need to add a new Team and work-shift just for yourself.

3) Donations without team

Under some circumstances it is possible that donations are uploaded to our server and we can not surely match them with a team/work-shift. This mostly happens when a fundraiser did not log out of the app at the prior day and just continues to work at the next day without refreshing the app. If this happens, we store the donation as an unfinished donation for the fundraiser or some staff user to add the team manually.

Converting donations:

The unfinished donations can be viewed in the backend under Unfinished Donations. When opening it, you can see a list of all unfinished donations. To finish a donation, open it and choose "Save to Donation" on the bottom right. When the donation still has no Team, a message is shown, notifying the user that the converted donation will not show up in the statistics. By approving the unfinished donation, the donation will be in the donation list and not in the unfinished donation list anymore.
