When we send welcome emails from our system, we use Mailjet. There are different status messages that show you what happened to the email. You can find the respective status in the details view of each donation.
Email Status | Explanation |
---|---|
sent | The email was successfully sent. |
open | The email was sent and opened by the recipient. |
click | The email was sent, opened, and a link in the email was clicked. |
blocked | The email was sent but blocked by Mailjet (e.g., because the address is known to be invalid). |
bounce | The email was sent but could not be delivered (e.g., because the inbox is full or the mail provider’s server is overloaded). |
retrying | The email was sent but could not be delivered immediately. Mailjet will attempt to resend the email for up to 7 days. |
hard_bounce | The email was sent but could not be delivered because the email address does not exist. |
spam | The email was sent and marked as spam. |
failed | The email could not be sent. |
queued | The email has been queued for delivery. |
deferred | The receiving server has delayed acceptance. |
